FIRSTJOBZ is a free UK job board for people chasing their first proper role. These terms set out how you can use the site, what we can promise you and what sits with the employer. No small print games.

A free board for first jobs.

FIRSTJOBZ gathers entry level, junior, trainee and apprenticeship roles from across the UK into one place. It is free for job seekers. No fee to search, no fee to open a listing, no paywall on any job. You do not need an account to look around.

Employers and third party sources.

• We list, we don't hire. Listings are gathered from employers' own recruitment systems plus partner sources. FIRSTJOBZ is not the employer, not a recruitment agency, not a party to anything you agree with an employer.
• No endorsement. Appearing on the board is not a recommendation. We do not vet, screen or guarantee any employer, role, pay rate, working conditions or outcome.
• You apply on their site. Every listing links out to the employer's own application page. From that point you are on their website under their own terms and privacy policy.

Listings move fast.

Jobs get filled, pulled or edited by the employer at any time. A role you can see here might already be gone. Details like pay, hours or location can change after we pick a listing up.

We work to keep the board fresh but we cannot promise that every listing is current, complete or correct. If something looks wrong, out of date or suspicious, tell us at [email protected] and we will look at it.

Never pay for a job.

A genuine UK employer will not ask you to pay to apply, to pay for training before you start or to hand over bank details up front. A request like that is the clearest sign of a scam.

• Never send money, gift cards or vouchers to get a role.
• Never share bank details, ID documents or passwords with someone who contacted you out of the blue.
• If a listing you found here leads somewhere like that, report it to [email protected] so we can pull it.

Use the board like a person, not a robot.

• No scraping, crawling or automated bulk collection of listings or pages.
• No copying the board or republishing our listings as your own.
• No attempt to break, overload, probe or interfere with the site, its accounts or anyone else's use of it.
• No use of the site for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.

We can withdraw access where the site is being misused.

Our words, their jobs.

The design, the wording, the guides and everything else we made for FIRSTJOBZ belong to us. Please don't lift them wholesale. Job listings belong to the employers or sources they came from. We show them so people can find work, nothing more.

Our guides exist to help you get started. They are general information only, not legal, financial or careers advice for your situation. Where a decision really matters, get proper advice from someone qualified.

Pay figures reflect published UK rates at the time of writing. Rates change, employers differ, so treat any number here as a guide rather than a promise.

A link is not a recommendation.

The site links to employers, application systems and other websites we don't control. We are not responsible for their content, their security or what they do with anything you give them. Check who you are dealing with before you hand information over.

Provided as-is.

We work hard to keep the board up but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features can change, pages can move, the site can go down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

What sits with us, what doesn't.

To the fullest extent the law allows, FIRSTJOBZ is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from a listing being inaccurate or out of date, or from anything that happens between you and an employer or another website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under UK law are not affected.

Who FIRSTJOBZ is for.

The board is for over-18s. You confirm you are 18 or over when you make an account.

If you are still at school or college, check your own timetable and any rules your place of study has about paid work before you take a role on. Nothing on this site overrides UK employment law. Employers must follow the rules that apply to your age, your hours and your pay.

If these terms change.

We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the bottom of it. Carrying on with the site after a change means you are happy with it.

England and Wales.

These terms, plus any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
