POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Kitchen Brigade as a Pastry Commis Chef.
Our Pastry Commis Chef will be committed to assisting the Pastry Chef De Parties in daily preparation of service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times. As a Pastry Commis Chef, responsibilities also include being fully conversant in all menus, in particular items which are the responsibility of your section and their recipes and quantities.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Culinary degrees or qualifications desirable
- A passion for food and cooking
- An eagerness to develop your culinary skills
- Relevant experience in a Five-star or fine dining property is desirable
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
- Good command of the English language
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
