We are currently looking for a permanent Site Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly team at Dunbar Cement Plant. This role is site based 5 days per week, Monday to Friday on a part-time basis of 22 hours per week. We are looking to hear from candidates who could work the following pattern: Monday 7:45am - 3:45pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 1.00pm - 3:45pm & Friday 7.45am -3.30pm.Role ResponsibilityIn the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist you will be responsible for:Being the first point of contact for the site at Dunbar; this will include welcoming visitors and conducting basic checksEnsuring induction for all visitors and compliance with site security proceduresGeneral office administration and support for siteSupporting with administration of projects and initiativesOrganising and supporting the provision of trainingProviding ad hoc support to the wider site as requiredContributing to and supporting the health and safety culture onsite, including being an ambassadorMaintenance of records, long-service awards, organising and supporting health surveillance on site.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist will have experience in a similar role as well as experience of:· Excellent IT skills (MS Office)· General administration experience· Knowledge of a fast-moving working environment· Working independently· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.· Organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail· Problem solving and trouble shooting skillsWhy TarmacWe don't just offer a job, we offer a career.Alongside this role, you'll have access to industry-leading rewards, development opportunities, and a culture that puts people first, including:Bonus schemeEnhanced holiday entitlement Contributory pension schemeAccess to the Tarmac Reward website with discounts on retailers, holidays, etc.Access to our Employee Assistance helpline for free and confidential adviceAccess to join our Employee Communities (employee networks) we currently have nine communities inc.
