Sureserve provide trusted high-quality solutions that focus on energy efficiency to create warm, safe and compliant homes. The result is an improved quality of life for residents.

With nationwide reach, regional and local relationships, a commitment to excellent client service and industry-leading expertise, we are set up to be a trusted partner for now and the future.

Overview of role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bid Writer to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality, compelling bid and tender submissions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in bid management, proposal writing and business development. You don't need extensive bid-writing experience — we're looking for someone with excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.

Working closely with the Senior Bid Manager and colleagues across the business, you will help coordinate tender opportunities, gather information from subject matter experts and turn that information into clear, persuasive responses that showcase Sureserve Compliance Electrical's strengths, capabilities and commitment to customer service.

You'll work across a variety of tender opportunities, gaining exposure to public sector procurement, compliance, social value, sustainability and commercial requirements.

About you

We're looking for someone who is organised, curious and enjoys working with information and people.

You'll need:

  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to challenging deadlines

  • Good research and information-gathering skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Why join us?

This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical bid-writing experience within an established business while working alongside an experienced Bid Team.

You'll gain exposure to the full tender process and work with colleagues across a wide range of business functions, giving you the opportunity to develop your writing, commercial awareness, research, stakeholder management and project coordination skills.

If you're an excellent communicator, highly organised and keen to develop a career in bids and proposals, we'd love to hear from you.
