Dartmoor National Park Authority works in partnership with local and national stakeholders to conserve and enhance Dartmoor as a vibrant, living, working landscape and community teeming with natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage.

We promote opportunities for the public to understand and enjoy the special qualities of Dartmoor National Park, whilst also promoting the economic and social wellbeing of local communities.

We are now looking for a part-time Temporary Information Adviser to join our team on a fixed term until 31 December 2026 working in total 422 hours for the contract period (maximum 16 shifts per month in summer).

The post holder/s will assist in the day to day, efficient and effective operation of the National Park Visitor Centres at Haytor and Postbridge and provide support as part of the Visitor team. This will include assisting the public to understand and enjoy the area through providing a positive welcome and advice service tailored to individual needs.
