Risk and Resilience Coordinator

£24,796 – £25,583 per annum | Permanent | Full Time

Are you looking for a varied and rewarding role where you can help keep council services safe, resilient, and prepared for disruption? Do you have strong administration skills and an interest in risk management, health and safety, or emergency planning, and enjoy working collaboratively across a local authority environment?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our Risk and Resilience Team based in Bideford.

Working with the Risk and Resilience Team Leader, you will support the Council by contributing to emergency planning and incident response. You will coordinate exercises to strengthen business continuity arrangements and ensure critical services can be maintained or restored during disruption. You will also assist with corporate health and safety and risk management, working with all council departments to keep policies, procedures, and records current and compliant.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the Council. Training and support will be provided to develop your knowledge and skills further.
