Finance Assistant

£24,796 – £25,583 per annum (pro rata if part time) | Permanent | Full Time – although Part Time would be considered (Minimum of 29.6 hours per week)

We are recruiting for a helpful and dedicated individual to join our Finance team as a Finance Assistant. The successful candidate will take a key role in ensuring the team provides the highest level of customer service to our internal and external customers.

The role involves accounts payable, supporting the accountancy and exchequer teams to ensure all processes are completed accurately and efficiently, as well as providing helpdesk support for users of our financial systems across the authority. It is essential that the individual has a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above and experience of working within either an administrative or a finance environment.
