As Head Housekeeper, you will lead the housekeeping function, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency across all guest rooms and public areas.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, motivating, and developing the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional standards
• Managing daily operations including room allocation, inspections, and productivity levels
• Ensuring all bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standard at all times
• Implementing and maintaining cleaning standards, procedures, and quality checks
• Managing stock control, ordering, and cost control within departmental budgets
• Working closely with Reception and Maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Handling guest feedback and resolving any concerns promptly and professionally
• Supporting recruitment, training, and ongoing development of the housekeeping team

You’ll have:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping leadership role within a hotel environment
• A strong eye for detail and a passion for high standards
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• A proactive, solution-focused approach
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day operation, including weekends and holidays
