Model Making
Work with the Team Leaders, Modelmakers and in conjunction with design and Aerodynamicist to develop our wind tunnel models and and testing program.
Take personal ownership of assigned work, anticipating requirements, identifying risks early and acting decisively to maintain delivery momentum.
Communicate clearly and constructively across the Aerodynamics department, ensuring priorities, technical issues and recovery actions are understood and progressed without delay.
Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the Aero department.
Execute the day-to-day tasks, providing support to model shop activities and wind tunnel working.
Manage time effectively in line with departmental requirements.
Identify and implement new methods, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and capability, while actively supporting the development and upskilling of junior team members.
Support the development and upskilling of junior team members through practical guidance, knowledge sharing and consistently high professional standards.
Professionalism
Build and maintain effective working relationships with all existing staff and support colleagues.
Demonstrate professionalism in every task and interaction.
Show flexibility and resilience in meeting operational demands, including shift requirements and changing priorities.

Extensive experience within the automotive industry or high-performance engineering sector; previous experience in Formula 1 is desirable.
Strong and broad knowledge of Leica systems, 3D scanning, PI Toolbox, Diablo procedures, and related systems.
Flexibility to work on shifts.
Ability to scope all tasks thoroughly, identify issues and discuss concerns and necessary actions.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to work professionally and competently with colleagues and team overall.
Provide guidance and technical support to model makers and junior team members, contributing to their ongoing learning, development, and professional growth.
