We are looking for a reliable and flexible Bank Porter (Maintenance) to support the smooth running of Glasgow Hospital. This is a varied and physically active role, providing logistical and operational support across multiple departments both within the hospital and externally.This role would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on position, takes pride in supporting others, and can adapt to the changing needs of a busy hospital environment.Key Responsibilities:Collection and disposal of waste, laundry, and clinical waste in line with hospital proceduresSetting up conference rooms and supporting office movesMaintaining hospital grounds and outdoor areasCleaning and preparing designated areasProviding courier services and transporting specimens when requiredCarrying out parking patrols as directedDelivering and collecting medical devices across the Central Belt of ScotlandSupporting the Housekeeping team with key operational tasksAssisting with stock managementAdhering to data protection, health & safety, and security policies at all timesThe PersonTo be successful in this role, you will:Have a flexible and proactive approach to workEnjoy working in a customer-facing environmentBe able to manage your workload effectivelyTake ownership and responsibility for tasksBe willing to undergo Disclosure Scotland checksHold a full UK driving licenceHelping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
