Are you passionate about supporting young people and delivering youth work programmes that make a difference?
Join Newground Together as a Community Programmes Coordinator – Youth & Community team in Calderdale. You'll provide leadership, guidance and support to a dedicated frontline team of youth workers, ensuring young people have access to safe, inclusive and engaging opportunities where they feel valued, heard and supported. Building strong relationships with young people, families, community organisations and partner agencies will be central to the role, helping to ensure our programmes respond to the needs, interests and aspirations of young people across Calderdale.
You will be responsible for leading programme delivery, managing performance and budgets, identifying funding opportunities, and driving continuous improvement across youth and community services. You'll play a key role in developing innovative youth work opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring young people are actively involved in shaping the services and activities that affect them. Through a youth-centred approach, you'll help create environments where young people can build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing and reach their full potential.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines youth work leadership, relationship-building, community engagement, project management and service development. It's an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about making a meaningful difference in young people's lives, championing their voices, and creating positive pathways for young people and communities to flourish.
