Housekeeper & Public Area Cleaner £13.01ph / 20 hours Permanent position Hotel Du Vin Exeter Requires flexibility, working five days in seven between hours of 7am - 8pm. Working as a Housekeeping Assistant at Hotel Du Vin you will be an essential part of the team. Working behind the scenes to ensure the Hotel du Vin standards are maintained and ensuring our Guest's room are perfectly prepared ready for check in alongside keeping public areas cleaned and refreshed to Hotel du Vin standards.

The Role:

Housekeeping Assistants will be required to style the rooms with an eye for detail and a passion for cleaning. This is a split role, covering both guest bedrooms and public areas of the hotel, ensuring all spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will be expected to work as part of a team to ensure bedrooms, corridors, and public spaces such as lobbies, lounges, and washrooms are clean, tidy, and ready on time, in line with our standards. You will play an important part in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment throughout the hotel.

As you will be visible to guests while working in both bedrooms and public areas, you’ll be expected to greet them with a smile and a warm welcome as you pass in corridors and communal spaces. Housekeeping Assistants have just as much interaction with our guests as any other staff member, so must be passionate about hospitality and delivering amazing service with personality.

About You:

  • You’ll have an eye for detail
  • You take pride in your work and enjoy being busy
  • This is a physical role, and you’ll need to cope with the demands of a Housekeeping Assistant position
  • You are comfortable working across both bedrooms and public areas
  • Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role, but we are happy to speak to you even if you have no experience at all
