Responsibilities
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients in their own homes.
Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding as required.
Administering medication as per care plan and following established protocols.
Assisting with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Accompanying clients on appointments, errands, and social activities.
Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' condition to the care management team.
Requirements
Essential: A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older adults.
Essential: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Essential: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential: Must be able to provide references.
Desirable: Previous experience in a caregiving role, either professional or personal.
Desirable: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
