Parking Services Team Leader

£31,537 – £34,434 per annum | Permanent | Full Time

Torridge District Council is seeking an experienced and proactive Parking Services Team Leader to lead the effective operation and administration of all Council owned car parks across the district.

This is a pivotal role for a confident and knowledgeable manager who can balance operational delivery with strategic input, ensuring services run efficiently while supporting the Council’s wider objectives around income generation and the effective use of parking assets.

As Parking Services Team Leader, you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day management and administration of all Council car parks throughout the Torridge District, ensuring safe, compliant and customer-focused operations.
• Actively collaborate with colleagues across the Council in relation to the consideration and management of commercialisation licences across the Council’s car park assets.
• Provide effective line management and leadership to the Parking Services team, including Civil Enforcement Officers and Parking Services Administrators.
• Drive service improvement, operational efficiency and consistent high performance across the service.
• Ensure the delivery of a professional, responsive service to residents, businesses and visitors, including the effective handling of enquiries and appeals.
