We are recruiting for the position of a Finance Assistant to work in our Accounts Payable Team, which sits within Revenue and Payments, Finance and Public Value at Devon County Council.
Join our small, friendly Accounts Payable team and play a key role in supporting a busy finance function. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices and responding to a wide range of queries from internal and external customers. We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual with experience in Accounts Payable or finance processes, strong organisational skills, and a positive, customer-focused approach. You’ll be confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications, able to manage competing priorities, and keen to contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes.
This role is based at County Hall, Exeter and is currently hybrid working x 2 days a week in the office.
