Working within the principles or person-centred support, enabling development and inclusion in their everyday lives within their home and wider community we require both full time and part time Support Workers/Carers.

We require dedicated Individuals to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.

You will also be expected to support the service users with general household chores for example cooking and laundry and housework such as hoovering and dusting and personal care. (Assistance with bathing, toileting and feeding). No two days are the same in this role, you will have the opportunity to assist someone else broaden their horizons and experiences whilst doing the same for you.

📋 Skills & Requirements

  • We don’t require experience as full training is provided, but we are looking for:
  • Compassion and empathy: A genuine desire to help others.
  • Communication: Building rapport with clients and families.
  • Patience and understanding: Remaining calm in challenging situations.
  • Observational skills: Noticing changes in condition or behaviour.
  • Organisation: Managing tasks effectively and keeping accurate records.
  • Physical stamina: Required for tasks like lifting or assisting with mobility.
  • Essential: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Essential: The Right to Work in the UK.
