What you'll do

We have an exciting opportunity for a carer to assist and support a young man with a spinal cord injury at his home in Cambridge. You would be required to support this client at home, out and about, and socialising/ attending appointments. Daily tasks will include providing personal care, meal preparation, cleaning/laundry. The client also has a pet cat.

This is a busy and rewarding role, which requires someone adaptable, self-motivated, and reliable.

What you’ll need

You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full training and ongoing clinical support to develop in key areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care - and much more.

You must hold a clean automatic or manual driving licence as the client has a vehicle that you will be expected to drive.
