What you'll do

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client in their home. This role involves managing a range of complex clinical needs that require regular monitoring and attention. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, proactive, and a reliable team player who demonstrates empathy, patience, and adaptability.

As the client is non-verbal and uses eye gaze technology to communicate, you will play a vital role in encouraging and supporting alternative communication methods to help them express their needs and enhance their quality of life. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to build on your existing care skills while making a meaningful and lasting impact.

Candidate would need to meet the following requirements before applying:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with Tracheostomy and Ventilation

The below experience would be desirable:

  • PEG Feeding
  • Suctioning
  • Catheter Care
  • Bowel Management (Manual Evacuation)
  • Medication Administration
  • Moving & Handling Equipment
  • Communication Skills For Non-Verbal Clients
