What you’ll do

You’ll be supporting a wonderful client in their family home alongside their parents and four friendly dogs. The client lives with a number of complex health needs, including: Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Hypertonic Clonus Spasms, Developmental Delay and Learning Difficulties.

Although non-verbal, the client communicates through smiles, laughter and vocal sounds, making this an incredibly rewarding role where you can build a meaningful connection and truly enhance quality of life.

This is a highly supportive 2:1 care package where you’ll provide ongoing clinical and personal care support, including:

  • Manual handling
  • Medication administration via JEJ
  • Chest physiotherapy support
  • Seizure management
  • Oral suctioning
  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Attend Hydrotherapy once a week

The family create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for the care team, making this a lovely home-based setting to work in.

What we’re looking for:

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Bowel management
  • Bladder management
  • Epilepsy care
  • Seizure management
  • Respiratory management
  • Oral suctioning
