The Role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious clients. The position is customer-facing and will involve some reception duties. The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of security responsibilities, including:

• Physical patrols of the site
• CCTV monitoring and patrols
• Dealing with accreditation and access control
• Reception and customer facing duties
• Dealing with and reporting incidents
• Completing incident reports and relevant security documentation
• Responding to alarms and security issues
• Monitoring and controlling access to the site
• Carrying out regular security checks
• Supporting emergency procedures when required
• Reporting any defects, hazards or security concerns
• General security duties
• Supporting the wider security operation at Ascot Racecourse


Is this you

  • At least 18 years old
  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence - essential
  • CCTV licence- essential
  • Full UK driving Licence - preferable
  • 5 years checkable work and address history
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
  • Friendly, approachable, and always professional
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
  • Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
  • Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
  • Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
  • Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner

The successful candidate will need to be confident dealing with customers, visitors and contractors, as well as being comfortable working independently and making appropriate decisions when dealing with incidents or security concerns.

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original birth certificate or a valid share code.
