About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.
  • Building positive relationships and creating meaningful experiences for those in your care.
  • Supporting residents with their daily activities and individual needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records using our electronic care planning system, Nourish.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
  • Demonstrating kindness, compassion, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
  • Undertaking additional duties as required to ensure the smooth delivery of care services.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Are enthusiastic about providing outstanding care and support.
  • Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for others.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Are organised and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Encourage and support residents to maintain their interests, hobbies, and social connections.
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

  • Pay: £12.71 per hour
  • Flexible bank opportunities available (Note this is not permanent hours per week) – choose shifts that work around your lifestyle. With weekday, night, and weekend shifts available, you can enjoy greater flexibility while making a real difference to the lives of our residents (terms and conditions apply).
  • Shift patterns:
    • 8:00am – 8:00pm / 8:00pm – 8:00am
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time employees)
