The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you will support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create an environment where every child can thrive. You will provide targeted support for pupils with literacy and phonics needs, as well as refugee children and those with SEN, EAL and speech and language needs, ensuring they can fully access learning and achieve their potential.
Working closely with our English Lead, you will play a key role in developing confident, fluent readers through high-quality phonics and reading support. Using the Little Wandle approach, you will deliver targeted interventions, monitor pupil progress and contribute to a culture that promotes reading for pleasure. Through reading fluency programmes, personalised support and access to an engaging school library, you will help pupils build confidence, close gaps in learning and develop a lifelong love of reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about literacy and committed to helping every child succeed.
