We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Sandwich Chef to join our food service team in Silverstone, United Kingdom. - Prepare and assemble sandwiches and specialty food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory of ingredients, monitor stock levels, and communicate supply needs to management
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, toasters, and food preparation tools
- Respond promptly to customer orders and special requests while maintaining quality and speed
- Follow proper food handling procedures and allergen protocols to ensure customer safety
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and service demands
- Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding items that do not meet standards
- Assist with cash handling and order fulfillment as needed
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary information to address customer inquiries
- Proven experience preparing and assembling sandwiches in a food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with food preparation equipment and kitchen tools
- Customer service orientation with a focus on quality and presentation
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Preferred: Experience with specialty, gourmet, or dietary-specific sandwiches
