Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week (working any 5 days in a 7-day period)
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, providing a clean and safe working area.
- To maintain all catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean.
- To receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment as and when required.
- To be involved with some food preparation and service when required.
- Report immediately any incidents or accidents, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such actions as may be appropriate.
- Report any broken equipment to the Kitchen Leader and General Manager.
- To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
- Skills & Experience Required:
- Passion for the hospitality and catering industry
- Positive can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet business needs
- Good organisational skills
- Reliable and able to work well within a team
- Self motivated and proactive
- Meal on shift
