This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of the site, including mixing asphalt using advanced computer systems, operating the weighbridge, driving mobile plant, and supporting various site operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.What You’ll Be Doing:Reporting to the Section Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping the team meet production targets and maintain high standards across the site. Your responsibilities will include:Collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality materials and timely deliveries to customersSupporting production goals and ensuring stock levels are maintainedOperating mobile plant and machinery safely and efficientlyConducting inspections and taking action on any defectsMaintaining excellent housekeeping standards across the siteAdhering to all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality proceduresEnsuring the plant meets all safety and operational requirementsThis site operates on a 24/5 production schedule, so flexibility is essential. Overtime is available to support production needs.What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking someone who is proactive, safety-conscious, and ready to get stuck in. Ideally, you’ll bring:Experience in Asphalt, Readymix, or industrial manufacturing environmentsStrong IT skills – essential for operating our systemsPrevious experience with mobile plant operations – highly desirableA valid Shovel License – a big plusExcellent timekeeping and communication skillsA positive attitude and willingness to learn – training will be provided for the right candidateReady to take the next step in your career?
