Whether you already have industry experience or are looking to develop a career in a hands-on operational role, we'd love to hear from you.The site is conveniently located for candidates living in Stoke-on-Trent, Cheadle, Leek, Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Rocester, Alton, Blythe Bridge, Biddulph, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Longton, Stone and the surrounding areas.What You'll Be DoingAs part of a busy operational team, you'll help ensure the safe and efficient production of construction materials by:Operating mobile plant and site equipmentSupporting daily production targetsCarrying out plant inspections and reporting defectsAssisting with maintenance activitiesMaintaining high housekeeping standardsFollowing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality proceduresWorking as part of a collaborative team to deliver excellent customer serviceAs our business operates to meet customer demand, working hours can vary from day to day. You'll need to be flexible, as this role may involve a mixture of day and night working, along with occasional early morning start times.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:Safety focused and reliableA strong team player with a positive attitudeFlexible and willing to learn new skillsConfident communicating with colleagues and supervisorsIT literateIn possession of a Full UK Driving LicenceExperience within quarrying, asphalt, manufacturing, construction or a similar industrial environment would be beneficial.
