Your Role:

SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden is seeking a talented and experienced Sushi Chef de Partie to join our highly successful and dynamic kitchen brigade as we continue to grow.

Your Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Head Sushi Chef, the Sushi Chef de Partie plays a key role in delivering the exceptional quality and standards for which SUSHISAMBA is renowned.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and presenting sushi dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
  • Monitoring the quality and freshness of seafood and other ingredients
  • Inspecting supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Following recipes, preparation methods, and presentation guidelines accurately
  • Supporting the creation and execution of innovative menu offerings that reflect the SUSHISAMBA brand
  • Assisting in maintaining efficient kitchen operations and service delivery
What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Sushi Chef de Partie or in a more senior sushi-focused role
  • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine
  • Experience working within a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and development
  • A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional standards
  • A proactive mindset with ambition to grow within the business
  • Flexibility to work five days per week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and teamwork
