Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thurdsay, Friday, 07:30 : 17:00 & Saturday 08:00:17:00.
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Newcastle Depot, Drum Industrial Estate Chester Lee Street DH2 1AE

Why this role pays off:
• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

Plus:

What you’ll be doing
• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for
• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
