At Rick Stein Restaurants, we’re passionate about fresh seafood, simple cooking done brilliantly, and kitchens that run smoothly behind the scenes. Our kitchen porters play a vital role in making that happen, and we’re now looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team.

What you’ll be doing

· Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently

· Washing dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment to a high standard

· Supporting the chefs with basic food prep when needed

· Maintaining hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards at all times

· Helping with deliveries, waste management, and stock organisation

· Being a key team player in a fast-paced, professional kitchen

What we’re looking for

· A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

· Pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

· Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment

· Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail

· Previous kitchen porter experience is helpful, but not essential – full training provided

The Cornish Arms in St. Merryn, offers a simple British pub menu, with dishes like real beef burgers, mussels and chips and scampi in the basket.
