Join us as a Receptionist at our Bristol Hospital and play your part in delivering an exceptional experience for every patient, visitor and consultant who walks through our doors.As the first point of contact for our hospital, you will provide a warm and professional welcome while supporting both the Main Reception and Outpatients Department. This is a varied role that combines exceptional customer service with administrative support, helping to ensure every patient journey runs smoothly from arrival through to departure.We are looking for a customer-focused and organised individual who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy environment. You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression of the hospital, supporting patients, visitors, consultants and colleagues while ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of reception services.As our Receptionist, you will:Help patients, visitors and consultants feel welcome, comfortable and supported when they visit the hospital.Deliver exceptional customer service, using empathy and professionalism to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.Support both the Main Reception and Outpatients Reception areas as required.Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate waiting areas, departments and facilities.Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries and action requests in a professional and timely manner.Book, amend and confirm appointments using hospital systems.Register patients accurately, ensuring personal, insurance and billing information is up to date.Process patient payments and card transactions in line with hospital procedures.Prepare and manage clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, patient packs and terms and conditions documentation.Maintain accurate patient records and complete administrative tasks including scanning, filing and data entry.Work closely with consultants, clinical teams and administrative colleagues to ensure clinics and departments run smoothly.Manage competing priorities while remaining calm, professional and focused on delivering an excellent patient experience.Handle confidential information in accordance with hospital policies and data protection requirementSuccessful candidates will be expected to work a mixture of these shifts based on the needs of the business.To succeed as a Receptionist, you will be passionate about customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.You will also have:Previous reception, administration or customer service experience, ideally within a healthcare, hospitality or service-led environment.Outstanding cu
