As a Graduate Finance Business Analyst, you’ll join our Finance Controlling team and work alongside an experienced Finance Business Partner. From day one, you’ll contribute to real finance projects, build your business knowledge and develop the skills needed to progress into a fully qualified Finance Business Partner career.

You’ll also receive study support towards a professional qualification CIMA giving you the opportunity to Create, Test, Grow throughout your career.

What you’ll be doing:

No two days will be the same. You’ll gain hands-on experience across:

  • Helping with budgeting and forecasting.

  • Supporting monthly management reporting and variance analysis.

  • Producing financial analysis and insight to support commercial decisions.

  • Building financial models and supporting business cases.

  • Working with the Financial Accounting team to understand month-end and the financial ledger.

  • Developing Excel and Power BI skills to turn data into clear, useful insight.

  • Working with budget holders and stakeholders across the business.

  • Learning how to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.

  • Help stakeholders understand financial performance, identify opportunities and make better informed decisions.

  • Build your understanding of the commercial drivers behind numbers and how they connect to business performance.

  • Taking on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for graduates who are curious, analytical and excited about understanding how businesses work.

You’ll need:

  • Have a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline.

  • Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or another numerate subject would be an advantage.

  • Have a genuine interest in building a career in commercial finance.

We’d also love to see:

  • A genuine ambition to build a career in finance.

  • Enjoyment working with numbers, data and solving problems.

  • Good Excel skills and are comfortable working with data.

  • Naturally curiosity and want to understand the ‘why’ behind the numbers.

  • Communicate clearly and can explain information to people who aren’t finance specialists.

  • Take initiative and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Are resilient, adaptable and open to feedback.

  • Enjoy working collaboratively and building relationships.
