This isn’t your typical care role. You’ll be at the heart of our service, stepping in to support clients across a range of care settings - ensuring no one is ever left without the exceptional care they deserve.
About the Role
As a Universal Care Assistant, you’ll provide high-quality care across a variety of services, including:
- Domiciliary (home) care visits
- Emergency and short-notice support
- Waking nights and sleep-ins
- Temporary live-in care placements
Your role will include:
- Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting with daily routines and medication
- Preparing meals and providing companionship
- Adapting quickly to different clients and environments
- Being a reassuring, friendly presence in times of need
No two days will look the same – and that’s what makes this role so exciting.
Pay & Benefits
- £13.30 per hour for care delivery
- £12.71 per hour for travel time
- 35p per mile mileage
- Enhanced rates for waking nights
- £130 per day for live-in care assignments

Who We’re Looking For
- Previous care experience (essential)
- A flexible and open-minded approach to different types of care
- Confidence working across a variety of settings and clients
- A calm, reliable, and proactive attitude
- Willingness to work a mix of shifts, including nights and live-in when required
- A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
