Our personalised care services help our clients remain safe and comfortable within their own home. All our clients are wonderfully unique; it’s lovely to spend time listening to their stories and lives. As a carer your care visits may include:
Personal Care – helping someone to get up in a morning, the usual things we all may need a little help with at some time in our lives, supporting with washing, grooming, continence care and getting dressed.
Companionship – conversation and good company - assist with writing letters and enjoying a chat, shopping and much more
Activities – accompanying to outings and social events such as a local friendship lunch club and to encourage hobbies and pastimes
Plan, prepare and cook nutritious food - rediscovering favourite family recipes
Medication – collecting prescriptions, medication reminders
Light housekeeping –ensuring their home is spotless, safe, tidy
Qualifications
At Home Instead we value a kind, compassionate heart above all else. We provide full, paid training for all our Care Professional’s as standard, although you may not have had formal care training any previous care or personal experiences are always very welcome.
As many of our clients are based in rural locations, access to reliable transportation is essential.
What we offer:
We believe in person-centred care for our clients, which means all our visits are a minimum of 1 hour, to give plenty of time to complete tasks and get to know your client.
We love to match our care staff to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies and you will consistently see the same clients each time. Average hour contracts are available.
Salary £14 per hour peak times - to £30 per hour, (off peak range starting from £12.75)

Applicants must be UK resident; we cannot offer sponsorship. You will need a driving licence and a car. This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure and reference checks.
