As a Distribution Security Officer, you’ll play a key part in safeguarding our people, assets, and operations. The role can be challenging, but it’s also highly rewarding and offers great support from an experienced team. We’re looking for someone who is vigilant, assertive, resilient, and a helpful team player with a genuine interest in security.
The key Responsibilities are:
- Managing and controlling all access to the site
- Booking vehicles in and out
- Writing accurate and timely incident reports
- Conducting vehicle and colleague searches
- Responding quickly to security incidents
- Completing regular internal and external patrols
- Carrying out daily and weekly audits
- Engaging in physical duties as required
We’d love to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar security role
- Strong written communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of Data Protection and Health & Safety
- Experience in conflict management and incident reporting
- A resilient, professional approach when dealing with challenging situations
- An SIA Licence is desirable, but not essential
