About the Role:

We’re looking for a Hatchery Operative to join our Hygiene team at our Hatchery in Shobdon, Herefordshire!

No experience necessary, full training is provided!
About the role As a Hatchery Operative, working as part of the Hatchery Team, you’ll help assist the hatchery and play a key role in the daily duties which are fundamental to our entire business.

• Cleaning all equipment after use to the required high standards
• Safeguarding bio security and following these strict procedures
• Observing bird welfare and health and safety on site at all times

What are we looking for?

• A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
• Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.

Sunday-Friday on a 5 week rotation - 24hrs per week Week 1 - Monday 1430 - 2030 Tuesday 1500-2100 Wednesday 1500 - 2100 Thursday 1430 - 2030 Week 2 - Sunday 0600 - 1200 Monday 1430 - 2030 Thursday 1430 - 2030 Friday 1500 - 2100 Week 3 - Sunday 0600 - 1200 Monday 1430 - 2030 Tuesday - 1500 - 2100 Wednesday 1500- 2100 Week 4 Tuesday 1500 - 2100 Wednesday 1500 - 2100 Thursday 1430 - 2030 Friday 1500 - 2100 Week 5 Sunday 0600 - 1200 Monday 1430 - 2030 Thursday - 1430 - 2030 Friday 1500 - 2100 Due to Bird Welfare, it is essential that you do not own any Avian Pets or Poultry.
